Help!

Okay, chu's got a cold. I called the doc and was told that there is nothing that I can do. If he seems achy i'm supposed to give him baby tylenol. They also told me a cool air humidifier will help. I knew that cool air humidifiers helped with stuffy noses but I wasn't aware that it did anything for runny noses other than make them run more. Plus he has a little cough. Tomorrow it will be a full week that he hasn't felt well. Any ideas on anything I can do to make chu more comfortable until he feels better. I don't know if the things that I do for my own cold are safe for chu. Also any ideas to help a runny nose? I don't do anything for my own runny nose except blow it so i'm using the aspirator double time on chu... Help, please!!!

I'm in the same position as you .Kay. Adriana's had a cold for about 4 days and it doesn't seem to get better. I give her robitussin and alternate that with dimetapp throughout the day. She's still happy, she just looks terrible. Yesterday I only gave her 1 dose of the dimetapp because i've come to the conclusion that it wasn't doing a thing for her. She goes from having a stuffy nose, to a runny nose so I don't know what a cool air vaporizor would do for her. If I come across anything i'll let you know.
Oh, and also there are these soothers that you can put in their bath...That's the only thing I haven't tried, only because it's way too cold to take .Adriana outside. Good luck and I hope .Chu feels better soon.
