You will want to make an appointment right away to verify you are pregnant, and from that point your doctor will determine when they will see you again.

Now!
You need to go now. First of all they will see how far you really are. *your first appt.~ they review your needs during pregnancy and help you make a personal plan to make sure you and the baby are healthy.
*your second appt.~ this is the first time you see the medical provider you have a general exam and a pelvic exam. Beginning with this visit you start giving a urine sample everytime you go in, measure your weight, blood pressure, and growth of your baby
*follow up appts.~ you are seen every four weeks until 28 weeks. You will then have a diabetes test. Starting with that 28 weeks you will be seen every 2 weeks until 36 weeks then every week to check for signs of labor.

So it is very important that you keep appt. And go as soon as poss. Keep us posted and let us know when your first visit is!!
