When I went pee just a little bit ago, there was a biiiig ole' glob of thick goo in there (soo sorry for the tmi, lmao)! Could it be that I am losing my plug? Shocked

.Ugh. It's so cold out. The windchill for the time being is -15.. I hate winter! Chris's car wouldn't start today when he was trying to leave for work. So he took my car to the gas station to get some gas in a container thing because that's the only thing he could think of- is that he didn't have enough gas. But that didn't work. & .In the meantime, my sister (just turned 16 .Friday & got her license) was throwing a huge fit & screaming & cussing because she needed to take my car to the mall. So she was super pissed that .Chris might have to take my car, or that I might have to take him to work. She called my mom at work crying to whine about it. what? She told me it's "not even my car" & that she can use it whenever she wants. health forum, please. I helped pay it off & .I've been helping my dad pay my insurance. I told her if she wants to use it so bad, then she can take .Chris to work. Ha. So after another fit, she took him. It's so annoying. I can't wait until our apartment is available so I can get the hell out of here & not have to deal with spoiled little health forum sisters.

Sorry for the rant.
Wink

I have no answer about your plug, it sounds suspicious??? You are getting close. I'm excited for you.

My incredibly car did the same thing. I had to have it towed to the garage twice. The first time they changed the plug wires, saying they were frayed and put in a new thermostat. $160 the second time they cleaned the battery terminals, because they were corroded. No charge this time. Well, neither thing worked, so the next time I filled the stupid thing up I put dry gas in it. That was it. Piece of junk!!!!!!!!!!

It started fine when it was warm and sunny. If it was cold and wet forget it.

Hey I understand about the car not starting! I got off of work last night at 3:30 am and I couldn't get my car to start. I couldn't go back inside because the doors were all locked to the mall where I work and it is impossible to go back in. Anyways, I had to end up calling 911 (it was -23 here) and they weren't even able to jump the car! It was still too cold. Anyways, havetogo try to start it up again. It better start this time!

Ooh .Krissy it *does* sound like it could be your mucus plug!! I lost mine in the early stages of labour, and it was just a big horrible blob of goo streaked with blood... Lovely. Hehe. Although it could just be really bad discharge.. Pregnancy is nice like that, especially towards the end. If it was more like a lump i'd guess it was your plug though. It's so exciting!!

It's cold here, too.. My poor car is turning into a block of ice. I like cold weather, but this is just too cold. Oh and i'm sorry about your sister being a brat.. Siblings can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. I'd just try and ignore her if I were you.

<3 you!

Honestly, I would say yes!! I heard it can still be several weeks until you go into labor or it could be today or tomorrow. It definitely sounds like your mucous plug. If it looks like snot, then its your plug. I actually never saw mine because I was induced but people told me it looks like a big glob of snot.

I am getting really excited for you, krissy!!!!

Do you have everything ready to go to the hospital?? Something that helped me in the hospital during moderate contractions, lolipops. It sounds stupid, but man they were helpful. We also had some other snack goodies because the hospital food just was not enough. I actually asked for another lunch and dinner because the serving were laughably small. They actually expected me to be fed on their small portions after expending all that energy on labor and delivery and then my body was attempting to produce milk. When I asked for additional food, the nurse looked at me like I was surprised. What do they expect?? Anyways, just bring some yummy food with you if you haven't thought of that already.

If you do go into labor and can wing it, send us a quick email that says, "i'm off"

Heck no I don't have anything ready to head to the hospital! I'm only 34wks! I've been thinking of getting a small bag ready just in case it happens in the next few weeks. But I have no idea what the heck to put in it! I haven't had either of my baby showers & I don't have nearly everything I need for .Gabe, either. We don't even have his stroller or carseat or anything like that. Eeeesh.

It did just look like a big heap of snot. I don't think it was my whole plug- just part of it. But it was pretty gross lookin', lmao.

& .Of course when it happens .I'll pop on to say .I'm off to the hospital, or at least call .Sandra & tell her so she can pass the word along to you guys.

& .On another note, my health forum sister is down here yelling at me to get off 'cause she's a health forum & has to have everything her way. She standing here tossing through magazines & then throwing them across the room, tapping her foot over & over, sighing... I just sat down & she expects me to just jump up so she can use the computer. Rolling Eyes I swear .I'm about to punch her.

i was very fortunate because my boss noticed that I hadn't left and she was concerned when the police officer came so she asked the other girl to stay in the mall entrance so that she could let my boss back in and then she came and said that she would take me home. I was out in the cold for like 45 minutes and it was so could I still feel cold.

My dh and I were able to get it started this morning so thankfully I have it back.

.Different sister. Haha.

I feel okay. Lots of pelvic pain/pressure & my back cramps & hurts if .I'm sitting down for too long. I'm just so exhausted lately. But so antsy at the same time. The other night I went on some big rampage & did dishes & dusted & swept the floors. My mom was like " Shocked .Oh god you're nesting!" .But I didn't know what the hell she meant, so she had to explain it to me, lmao. I'm a dork.

Hey girl! Have someone get that car seat for you and pack your bags!!! Since you are nesting right now perhaps packing would be easier. Do it now since you have the energy:)!!

Here I am talking - I didn't have anything ready until 37 weeks. People pestered me so much until I actually did it. I wished I brought warm slippers, magazines, better music and more things to suck on!!! Oh, my bathroom was so thin and I was freezing the whole time. The blankets in the hospital are very thin.

A few things I would pack:
slippers or nice, thick soaks - my hospital was cold!
Night wear or something comfortable (not something extremely nice)
bathrobe
a change of clothes for leaving the hospital (equivalent to maternity wear you wore at 6 months - you will be smaller but will still have a belly:))
a onsie, pj's or something comfortable for the baby
cd's
magazines (something very easy to read in case of long labor)
pillow
snacks
camera!!

I forgot what else.

I'd pack a bag soon, you just never know.
I packed two bags and didn't use anything in it except for my bath stuff, a brush, socks, and my coming home outfit.
I wore the hospital gowns and their pads and stuff.
I started losing my plug around 33 weeks and it just kept coming and coming until I had her at 41 weeks. It can rebuild itself. Some days it was gobs and gobs of it. Lol
