Could I Be Pregnant Before the Period Comes Back? Posted: 02-04-07 16:07pm
I had medical abortion short time ago at 7
weeks. Day 2 I started heavy bleeding.
Day 12, I observed stretchy cervical
secretion among the light bleeding.
Bleeding almost stopped around day 13.
Day 14 I had unprotected sex.
Day 15 I had follow-up. Doctors said
everything looks fine, there were still
some blood remaining in the uterus.
Is it possible for me to get pregnant from
the sex on day 14? Is there any way to
find out? My partner and I will be very
happy if I get pregnant again and this
time we will keep the baby for sure.

I read that it is possible. But ive also
read that it isnt because there hasnt been
a new egg released to be fertilised. But
apparently it has happened. But a small
percentage, I dont have any websites for
proof this is just what ive read and been
told.
Also I know this is a distressing
time-trust me I know. But it sounds to me
like u regret your abortion?
If I were you I would give yourself, and
your uterus time to heal before you try
again. A new baby isnt going to replace
the old one. Things are just meant to
happen. Just wait. I might sound tight,
but im just talking from experience in
life and this forum.
So yeah...Hope this helps.

It's kinda weird but I have heard that
after you have a baby, have a m/c or have
an abortion that you are very much fertil
during that time after you deliver or pass
a baby. So you may in deed be pregnant.
However if you aren't, let your body heal
before you try to get pregnant. I would
give yourself 3-6 months before you get
pregnant again.
