Could This Be Inplantation Bleeding? Posted: 02-05-07 15:09pm
For the past two days I have had some
bleeding, but only when I wipe. I'ts
really bright red and kind of
slimy...Sorry for too much info...Any one
know what this might be? I also took a
hpt last night and there is a real faint
2nd line (which would be positive).

take another test first thing in the
morning, if the lines still there then ur
pregnant although any line whether faint
or not usually means your pregnant but u
might get a more distinct line in the
morning with ur first urine. I neve rhad
implantation bleeding so iw ouldnt know.
But it seems that you are pregnant

1st its "im" not "inplantation" and second
its impossible to implant and get a
positive....Implantation happens before ur
expected period and besides ib is not
common . You cant get a positive while
implanting because ur not pregnant yet.

Emma I hate to tell you but your actually
wrong. Implantation is when the
fertalized egg implants its self to your
cervix wall. You're actually pregnant
.B.E.F.O.R.E. That. When the sperm meets
and fertalizes the egg which happens about
6 days before then. It takes those days
for you fertalized egg to travel through
the falopian tubes and reach the cervix.
That's why some doctors say your actually
pregnant 41 weeks because they go by date
of actuall conception. A 40 week based
pregnancy is from date of implantaion. So
its not that she isn't pregnant yet cause
if she is experiencing implantation she
has been pregnant for the past week. The
only thing is most .H.P.T. Can't track
the hcg hormones that early.
Personally I had implantation bleeding
right around the time I was to start my
period. It lasted about a day. It was
dark and a little thick the first time and
then it lightened up and looked kinda like
disscharge and blood. (sorry for the
.T.M.I.) when the spotting just stopped I
got a little confussed so I went &
bought a 2 pack pregnancy test (the brand
name .Answer .Pregnancy .Test) I took the
first one that afternoon around 6pm and it
came back negative. Waited 6 days to take
the other one took it first thing that
morning and .B.A.M. 2 lines.
I was way early though . . . I made my
appt. For the next day went in they did
the blood work and urine test and
everything came back that I was pregnant.
They did an ultrasound and there was
nothing. That's how early I was. About 1
and a half weeks or 2 weeks.
Everyones different but to me it sounds
like there is a possobility it could be
implantation.
I say wait a few days take another test
with first morning urine and see what
happens.
Keep us updated on what happens.
Good luck

i hate to tell you but youre actually
wrong...A pregnancy is only established
oncve you have fully implanted on the
uterine wall and that is when you start
producing hcg the pregnancy hormone...

i've never heard anyone mention a 41 week
pregnancy unless they're overdue. And a
40 week pregnancy is based on your last
period, if they went by conception
wouldn't it be a 38 week pregnancy?
I'm so confused.

emma is correct! Your body would never
know it was pregnant and therefore would
not produce hcg until after implantation.
You cannot test positive (faint or
not) until after implantation and your
body has had the opportunity to make hcg.
This is why you are not supposed to test
until your period is due - to make sure to
give everything a chance to come together.

Ohh sorry .Emma
i learned wrong.
Wow that should tell you something about
the people teaching pregnancy classes in
texas.
But. . . Yea ok. I get it now.
I still say if she believes she is then
she should at least retest in a few days.
