Possible Symptoms of Hiv Or Syphyllis, Other Than Herpes Posted: 02-06-07 12:53pm
I recently, 6 weeks ago had unprotected
sex with a 23yr old female, oral and
vaginal. About a week later I developed
two pimples on the shaft of my penis.
They stuck around for about 2-3 weeks and
are now gone. I had some groin swelling
as well and had the flu around that time.
I just noticed that I had two more types
of lesions at the base around the scrotum
and have some swelling again of the groin
area, although I have a bad cold right
now. I just noticed this morning a red
dot under my lip. Not a pimple. I have
herpes already and have for 15 years from
my wife, so I know what herpes is. My
wife and I have been separated for 3
months but we did have sex after this
encounter. She went in for her yearly
checkup and they found her bloodwork
abnormal and are doing tests. I haven't
gone in yet but what is the possible cause
of this. From what I have read it seems
like syphyllis or hiv. Any ideas or
answers. The test comes back in a few
days.
