I finally got a bfp! I haven't told my husband yet. We've been ttc #2 for a year and a half. I have pcos and am taking metformin. I was about to start clomid next month. I want to tell my husband in a creative, fun, memorable way. Anyone have any good ideas?

Ok i'm stealing this idea from someone else so don't credit me, but you could get your #1 child a shirt that says i'm a big brother/sister and see how long that takes for him to notice. Or if you a photograpy nut like me you could show him your "new" picture on your computer (if you have ditigal) of the pregnancy test thats what I want to do....Someday

I would call him at work and say someone broke into the house. Let him freak out for a minute until he asks if anything was stolen. Then .I'd say "no, but they left a pregnancy test in the bathroom. Weird, huh?"

but .I'm bad that way. Twisted Evil

I was so freaked out when I first found out I was preggy (wasn't planned), I didn't do anything fun Crying or Very sad .All I did was call .Shane at work & say ".So, are you ready to be a daddy?"

.If we have another baby though, I want to have it on .Kaylee's onesie or tshirt like .Amber said!

edited to add:

ok let me tell you why I put it that way. Because less than two years before....We did the whole cutsie lets give the grandparents cards with baby booties in them and lets make a big to do over it and I lost the baby. So this time around it was a big suprise, birth control and everything, and oops I am preggers. Everyone got mad at us for getting preggers like we did it planned. We didnt' plan it and spending 3 weeks in the hospital the first time and being so close to death wasn't something I wanted to go thru again. But yay I have a beautiful little girl.

I called mike up and said: hi daddy.

You could get him a father's day type card too.

ya, because I had to. Long story short, the dentist needed to do x-rays and asked if I was preggo and I really did not know but people at work kept joking around that I was cause I was really sick. So I just said i'd take one to make sure. (we were not trying) well lo and behold it was positive within 10 seconds!

With joseph I was laughing cuz it was a crazy hectic week when I found out I was pregnant , I just told jason that we needed to get a preggo test lmao cuz the one itook was posotive and I wanted to make sure it was true lol, with our daughter he had already left for germany by then so he wasnt here he asked the week before I found out and I told him no no im not pregnant I can feel that im gonna get my period so a week later I called and was like hey guess what and then I said remember what we were talking about last week lol he actually remembered suprisingly, he was actually excited I could hear him telling his buddies that were near him at the payphone. I wished he coulda been there in person when I found out but eh thats the military for ya.

Thanks for the great ideas. Here is what I did:

I made a multi page card and let my 3 year old color it. For each of the first three pages I drew a simple picture of items we use a lot and then listed how much it costs. My three year old loves milk, so we go through a lot of it. So on the first page I drew a little gallon of milk and wrote, "gallon of milk... $1.98". The other two pages had other items we use a lot and their cost. On the last page I drew a little girl to represent my three year old and a little baby next to her and wrote, "finding out that your daughter is going to be a big sister.... Priceless".

As soon as my husband got home from work, my daughter insisted that he read the card she colored. So he started reading it out loud to her, thinking it was just some cute little project we did. When he read the last page, it took him a few seconds to get what he had just read. He was sooo excited and he thought the card was great. He thinks we should send similar cards to our families.
