I've had my iud since aug. Of last year, i've had a normal period since I got it starting between the 29-31 each month and lasting 3 to 4 days. This time, it's heavier and i've had it now for 11 days. Im also having moderate cramps anyone know what could be happening? Thanks a bunch!

Just like women on the pill, sometimes iud users experience a "fluke month", where they have a longer than usual period. Are you using mirena or paragard iud?
