I also think the potential father is trying to prove his paternity so he can petition for custody. He doesn't believe she is/was fit either. I'm sure the fact that she lived in the .Bahamas only complicated matters.

taken from http://toronto.Fash ion-monitor.Com/news.Php/celebrity_moms/20 07020804anna-nicole-smith

anna nicole smith has been ordered to submit her baby daughter to a dna test by 21 february 2007 in an effort to end the dispute over who the baby's biological father is.

To resolve a paternity battle between smith and her ex-boyfriend larry birkhead the model/actress must comply with the new court deadline during a hearing, a california judge declared.

Both rale and birkhead's attorney, debra opri, say the dna test will happen.

laws might be different in the .Bahamas. If you're a rich celebrity, they probably leave you alone over there.

Okay .I'm not sure why most of my post turned into one big link, but yeah. There's my opinion. I think she was definitely acting shady with that child and definitely acted like she had something to hide.

I'm sure they will. They're not certain that the lawyer guy is her father, so there's no way they'll just leave her with him without a test. If she belongs to the exboyfriend, then the lawyer has no legal right to her unless he adopted her. Which he didn't, because he assumed she was his.

First off while I do not believe everything in the media (far far from it) if the media were to wrongly accuse a well known celeb of a habitual drug problem then they would be opening themselves up for a major libel lawsuit - even the media isn't that stupid.

*no smoke without fire*

back to the scheduled program.

Another link detailing the potential father's claims that .Smith might be unfit (not trying to fuel an argument, just putting it out there):
