Ok I never being prego but I do have a questions to those who have being through vaginal delivery. I mean does the vagina really returns to the size it was before after a vaginal delivery or do you guys feel that you are more loose now? In terms of sex does it feel the same thightness as before the births?

no your vagina will never be exactly the same as before but you can help with kegals. Sex is still great though.

I haven't the slightest clue.....But I wouldn't think that it would turn out the same....But at the same time it doesn't stay huge like the baby's head....

Actually a lot of women find it tighter.

The vagina is a muscle and very very flexible.

Just the same as it is possible to lose all of your pregnancy weight and to be in better shape after than you were before - the same is true of the vagina - it can be in better tone and condition after than before.

i lost all of my weight and actually weigh less than I did before the baby-im 110 now and used to be 115-but, I lost all firmness, I mean all-and have no tone left.

Tone and firmness can only come from controlled exercise - yoga - pilates - tums&bums work outs etc

It's soooo weird. It feels different now too. Like I can feel him in different places than I did before. Feels a good bit better now that we've got a few things worked out.

Mine's tighter than it's been in years - maybe as tight as when I was a virgin. The last two times I tried to have sex, I tore. But I have painful scar tissue (had a 2nd degree tear when I gave birth) and zero sex drive, so that's my fault really, because .I've been refusing sex for those two reasons and only made the problem worse.

but doesnt that mean that its not necesarily tighter...Like wouldnt it be painful just for the reason that you have scar tissue and that you arent into it-therefore prob arent getting lubed properly, so I think it would for those reasons?

I just dont see how its possible to be tighter....

Even my gyno told me that they never go back to how they once were lol....

When I started having sex after the baby it hurt for a while, but I didnt attribute that to being tighter, I just figured that things were different down there now.

When I look at mine in the mirror after giving birth, it looks more "open" and my gyno said that is expected.

Guess im the only one?

and doesnt this contradict your orginal post? How can the vag just be suddenly tighter? You would have to do a ton of kegals and exercise like you said.

Im lost.

I honestly don't know natalia. Mine's tighter. My husband says so and I can feel increased pressure on the walls down there when we get it on. The entrance looks about the same width to me. It did look gapey for a couple months after I gave birth but it honestly looks the same to me now. Like I said I think the geography's a little of course because he hits spots I never felt him in before, but the general consensus is tighter...

We use lube from a bottle, so that's not the reason. Lots and lots of lube. And we've gone very slow. But .I've still torn (last night was our second attempt and owwwwie).

I think it's the fact that my tear healed. It might have overcompensated and healed too much, if that makes any sense. When I went for my postpartum checkup, my gyno told me that my skin had grown over my scar tissue, and that it might give me issues.

All I know is that my bunny isn't stretching like it's supposed to. Shocked
