Q: Multiple Pregnancies With Lost Fetal Heart Beat At 9weeks

I am 36 years old and have been pregnant twice using clomid (150mg). During both pregancies a fetal heart beat was seen during sonogram at 6 weeks, but no fetal heartbeat later at 9 week point. Both pregancies were lost and d&c performed. Is there a common cause for losing a baby at this same point multiple times? Are there any tests that can be performed to determine the cause? Should I stop trying--what's the probability that this will continue to happen for future pregnancies? Crying or Very sad

I'm not too sure what the probability is that it would happen again to you, but I had 2 miscarriages before having my son.

I would ask your doc, if you are very concerned

I'm intereseted in this response as well I had just miscarried a baby at 12w 3d. There was a strong heart beat and everything looked great at 6w 3d by ultrasound. I had some spotting and had an ultrasound yesterday to find no movement and no heartbeat Sad This is uncommon and I am interested to know why it happened if there is a reason.
