2 Anxiety Attacks In 1 Week Posted: 02-09-07 13:09pm
You read right. I have had 2 anxiety
attacks this week. I am 38 weeks + 5 days
now.
Anxiety attacks aren't too common with me,
but I have had 4 before, and they were all
realllllly bad.
On monday I was in the hospital because I
thought I couldnt breathe and my chest was
closing... They did all these tests &
xrays on my heart/lungs and absolutly
everything was fine and they concluded
that it was an anxiety attack from all the
stress I have been under. So I tried to
take it easy this week.. Not leaving my
home, not dealing with any family issues,
etc
and then yesterday happened. I am sitting
at home and I get a knock on the door, I
look through my peep hole and there was
two guys and they looked really scary ...
I didnt understand why any one would knock
on my door, I have no buzzer. One of them
looked like my ex bf who was very abusive
towards me physically, verbally, and
emotionally. I still am not over every
thing that happened and I am still very
scared of him, and any of you who have
been in a relationship like this when you
feel threatened for your life (and I hope
none of you have had this experience) you
know how I feel. The guys stood outside
for about 5minutes and when they left I
asked my building manager if anyone was
complaining about noise , and he checked
the surrounding appartments to me, and no
one did. So then I got even more scared
that it was in fact my ex who came around
(and I still am..Havent even been home
yet) ... I cant even type it out how bad
my anxiety attack was last night. The
last time I had one other than these 2
were last year when I was still in the
abusive realtionship. I still feel scared
and super stressed out and I am worrying
for my babys health in there.........
Has any one had anxiety attacks so late in
pregnancy? If so how did you deal with it
? And is there any advice for me to get
through this all? Thanks
ps- I am posting here because my family
doesnt understand how my ex's behaviour
really affected me. They think I am just
over reaacting. And they cant seem to
tell how stressed out I really am.
