Have you tried working out? That's really the best way I know. Do cardio around five times a week and weight training around 3 times a week.

Some of these responses seem a little confronting, ecspecially if you dont have much time.

Essentially think of it as a see-saw. Your intake - what you eat vs. Your outake - all physical actvity and exercise. So you need to used up more kilojules (or calories) than the amount you consume.

Im sure if you looked in google, you could find healthy foods that are both good for you and keep you fuller longer. Foods that have a low g.I keep you fuller longer, and instead of big meals but few, try consuming a number of meals a day of equal value but spread out.

Again aim to exercise at least 30minutes a day, 5days a week. You might not be able to do this yet, but aim for it.

Exercise and eating proper portioned healthy meals is the way to do it :p no fast food, ( burgers and fries) try to eat lots of fiber and whole grains, im doing really good after having my baby, I go to curves ( gym) 3 times a week and eat about 7 times a day of small portioned meals and just snack on little amounts of fruits veggies. Iv been loosing 10 lbs a month now :p the healthy weight to loose is 1-2 lbs a week. Good luck hun!

Hi.
Thanks you all for the answers.
I go to the gym once a week (sometimes twice, when I can). I try to have 3 to 4 meals a day. I don't eat white bread, because I have ibs and hemorhoids and that's really bad for me.
I may try to do better these days... :s

I have been eating foods high in fiber, less meat, and doing 30 mins of some kind of work out whether it is running or cleaning my house...hahha, its worked pretty well, dont eat more then 30 grams of fiber a day though, if you take to much it could block other vitamins.... hahaha... and I am watching tv, and there is a news report about eating out..... a bowl of chicken and broccoli pasta cream sauce(at ruby tuesdays) has more fat then 4 double cheese burgers at mcdonalds! YUCK..... so I gues avoid eating out too!

If you want to lose weight, you should try eating small amounts of diversified food 5 times a day, at regular hours.
Try to eat more at breakfast, because the calories you get will be burnt during the day. Also, try eating less at the last meal of the day, so that when you sleep you don't have to burn those calories.
Of course, this must be combined with at least 1h/day of exercise in the gym or at home ..

You may want to read more about the news.
Reargs dual,

I read that report as well. However, I think life would be easier if you used dieting to lose 200calories a day and exercise another 200 calories, as oppose to just all exercising or all dieting.

If I was really trying to lose weight I would still use the combination of the two, and not just diet. Just dieting makes for a harder time. You would have to give up many more foods and watch what you eat much more.

avoid doing leg workouts from heavy weights, try to do very light weight and more reps, that way it can help your legs to be toned and cut (thinner because it's tighter). however, if you are thinking more of the dieting side, you should consider a health program in which i can provide.
