Q: My Nightmare

It just keeps going. It seems like every friday (4 weeks now) since my water first broke something happens. Due to my uti, I having been having severe pains in my bladder area. About an hour ago, my underwear became wet again. This is common for prom people as they can go throughout there pregnancy with wet underwear. We can't do anything unless I start cramping and bleeding a lot. There is nothing doctors can do right now. They usually won't admit you until 24 weeks. So, here I am drinking a lot of water trying to replenish my baby - praying that my baby has enough fluid. If it gets worse, I will go to the emergency room.

Please pray or think of my little boy.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and/or prayers. I feel truly supported here. I feel bad about posting pregnancy complications on a forum that may make other pregnant woman freak but this has been such a supportive group. The dysfunction is sometimes entertaining as well. What is happening to me is extremely rare, so I hope all pregnant women understand that.

Alexa, I am so sorry I haven't congratulated you yet. I saw the pictures of beautiful amelia and read your birth story. I am so happy for you. You have such a beautiful heart and I know you are such a wonderful mom!! Keep those pictures coming.

I'll be thinking of you and little baby zachary (i totally just named him!), just take it easy and keep him in there for 20 more weeks! I'm sorry you're having such a hard time.

I've seen you mention it a lot and i'm sure you've said what it means before, but what is 'prom'?

I hope your doctor has you on some medication for your uti. They can be awful while you are pregnant!

Good luck.
