Really Scared 1st Sexual Intercourse, And Body Changed Afte. Posted: 02-11-07 12:05pm
Ok I am a 18 male, lost my v about 4 weeks
ago.
I have been thinking about this hiv
infection and its always on me head, which
is really annoying. She told me she had
slept with 4 lads.
Here are my symptons,
- slight diahroara - only twice, normal
now though ( about 1st week + 3rd week)
-felt a lil bit sick (never acutally been
sick)
-i have acne anyways but, now I have a
rash of acne on my neck, which ive never
had before
- felt tired the 1st week after the sexual
intercourse
thats about it really.
P.S - I am scared to get tested + finding
out the result. Is the result accurate
from 4 weeks down the line? And does it
hurt getting tested and what do they do?
No
many thanks. And I beg god I am safe.

Getting tested might be scary, but it is
probably less scary than sitting around
and wondering.
Make sure you use condoms from now on
whether you have it or not. Also, keep
in mind that there are many stds other
than hiv. Also, if you test negative,
that does not necessarily mean she is
negative. Hiv is not transmitted every
single time. So if you are negative,
don't assume she's clean. Use a condom
either way.
No, test results are not necessarily
accurate from four weeks on. Many people
get tested, wait a couple of months, and
get tested again. Hiv does not show up
right away, and how long it takes to show
up can vary some from person to person.
I don't really know for myself, but I
think the onset of hiv would be more than
"mild." and since you're a male, the
chances of getting hiv are significantly
lower. The only way you can get it is if
the virus makes it into the bloodstream...
Now that could only happen if you had a
cut on your penis, or if some fluid
managed to make it inside your penis and
somehow managed to break through the thin
layer of skin into your blood.
Also, only about 1 person in 1000 has hiv,
so your partner only has slightly over 1
chance in 255 to have the virus.
Personally, I would be more worried about
herpes... Or you might be lucky and only
got a bacterial infection such as
claumidia which is curable.
You should get yourself checked. You
shouldn't be too worried though...
Especially if you used a condom... Then
the chances would be more like 1 in 10000.
