Couple Questions.. Please Help!

This is the end of the first week of my third month of bc pills... I had bad breakthrough bleeding the first month, but after that things seemed to be completely back to normal. My period even seemed normal (except it was a darker color.. But thats ok right?) anyway, I have not missed a pill and have taken them on time except that now, im having break through bleeding again. What does that mean? I thought my body had adjusted or whatever and why, because I have been taking them at the right time, I havent missed one. One time, I was about 20 minutes late but thats it. What does this mean? Oh and could it have anything to do with placebo pills? Last week was my placebo pill week during my period. I ended up taking those pills a little bit later than I normal take pills but I figured it wasnt a big deal ( and when I say later I mean by an hour or two.. And only on some) because I thought they were just sugar pills... That they didnt do anything and were just a time keeper thing. Is that true? Oh im on microgestin fe 1/20 by the way. So I guess my questions are about the placebo week, and if this new breaktrhough bleeding is normal and when will it stop or if I have done something wrong. Thanks guys

oh and on a side note, this wouldnt mean that I was pregnant right? Thanks

Breakthrough bleeding does not mean you are pregnant.

Those sugar pills are just that, sugar pills, it does not matter of and when you take them. Most women prefer to take them as usual to keep their brain geared uo for normal pill use.

If you keep having spotting, you may need to consider another pill, you should check with your doctor.
