What Do You Think?

I know this is a random question but I wanted to ask what you all think is best to get more of 0-3 months clothes or more newborn clothes? I got 0-3 and newborn but I wanted to know what you think I should get more of so I can save money and get more of the other?Cause I know some babys grow slow and some quick?

Don't get a ton of newborn stuff. My son was never in newborn, but it's always good to have some on hand. They grow out of it so fast though. Better big than small is what I always say.

Unless your baby is premature or very small, I wouldn't get any newborn clothes at all because they will out grow them in like 2 weeks. I wouldn't get much 0-3month clothes either because the majority of the time your baby will be either in a onesie or in a t-shirt and pampers and you will find yourself left with quite a few 0-3 month size clothes that were never used.

I had 2 newborn outfits and he never fit into them (8 lbs 5 oz at birth). I had *a ton* of 0-3 month sleepers and outfits and he never wore half of them before I had to pack them away around 6-8 weeks. I would suggest only buying like 8 onesies, 8 sleepers, 3 outfits. You can always buy more if you need to.

pot doesn't grow fast-lol

ya it has slowed down now that trey is 18 months. He was in 24m/2t at 1 yr old and is now in 3-4 (sometimes 3x, etc..) but he has been in those for a few months now. It will be much easier on my wallet cause I spoil him constantly. Lol

well the sizes are more a guideline. My baby has been in 3-6 month clothes since he was about 2 months, now he's almost 3 1/2 months and getting close to moving into 6-9 months (although he's already almost out of 6-9 in one brand). I bought him an outfit for summer (he'll be 9 months old) in 18 months. I think someone else's baby here is 18 months old and he's in 3t clothing. It all depends on their build. I have a big boy, he's very long so he grows out of the one piece outfits quickly because they're not long enough to snap in the crotch or the legs are too short.

So don't buy a lot until you see if you have a big baby or a petite one or a long one.

I agree with the other posters. I wouldn't buy a lot of clothes until you see how big your baby is. If you get gift cards from people save them until your baby is born and go shopping with them once you see how big your baby will be. That is what I did. But I ended up having a small baby so she was able to us her newborn outfits....But I forgot about some of them and when I tried to use them they were far too small but she was still fitting in her 0-3 month clothing.
