im new here, im 27 and got married in
december 2006. My husband and I have
been ttc since oct 2006.
I had my last af 4 feb and it lasted for
around 3 hours. I am lucky if my other
periods last two days I have a 28-29 day
cycle and am always ontime with af but the
problem is there isnt much of it. Would
this affect my chances of becoming
pregnant?
Is there anyone else who has very short
af?
I look forward to meeting all you girls in
here.

Welcome,
i don't have the luxory of having a short
or light af. Mine do almost the same
thing every month. Start off with a bang
for about 2 days, then go very light for
the next two days.
I also started af on feb 4, so we are on
the same page.
My husband and I are also ttc for about 6
months now with no luck.
Good luck and tons of baby dust!!!

Hi there louise
welcome to the forum.Hope you like it
here.
Actually my af is very heavy everymonth
& it lasts 7 day. My cycle varies
from 21 26 28 30 somethimes. Me & dh
have been trying for now 11 cycles (8
months) with no luck.
I am sorry that its taking you so long to
get a bfp. About your question, I am not
sure that short afs would affect your
chances of becoming pregnant.
Have you asked your dr about it.
Hope you get an answer soon. Sending lots
of baby dusts.

Hi louise!
I would have to say that by only getting
your af for a couple of days, will not
affect your ability to get pregnant. The
fact that you are regular and getting your
af is a positive. It means your ovulating
and your body is doing it on a regular
cycle each month! And with a nice 28-29
day cycle, that means you should be
ovulating around cd14 or cd15!!!!!
Good lcuk with trying and remember that it
takes the average healthy couple 6 - 12+
mths to conceive!!!!
Baby dust to you!

Welcome to the forum, louise. I agree
with the other responses. I'm not a
doctor, but I don't think a short af will
affect your chances. Best of luck with
the tcc! Baby dust!
