Birth Control Placebos...please Help! Posted: 02-10-04 00:26am
I have been on alesse birth control for 3
months now. During my 2nd month of me
taking the pill, I was on my placebo week
and had unprotected sex during my period.
I wasn't bleeding anymore but I still had
1 more placebo pill to take. I've taken
my pills very carefully, at the same time
everyday, and never missed a pill. I
heard I am still protected during my
placebo week but i'm not sure. I just
started my placebo week for the next month
and i'm nervously waiting for my period to
start. I know it takes a few days to get
my period after taking the placebos...But
should I be worried at all of being
pregnant??? Please help!

Here's What I Think... Posted: 02-10-04 22:43pm
From what I know, your still protected
during that week your on the placebos, I
think this because when you start on the
other pills again, you don't have to wait
7 days (or whatever it is) to be protected
once again, your still protected from your
first pack.. I hope this clears some
things up...???

Definitely.. Until your body gets used to
this new change.. Your period may be off
for the first few months.. I didn't get
my period till the 6th placebo, and I was
really worried too b4 it happened.. But
once you realize that its just your body
going through a lot of changes and it'll
take some time you should be fine! So
stop worrying, stress can make af be late
too
