Cradle Cap. Ew.

What a nightmare. Finn had really bad cradle cap because it built up so much since I couldn't see how bad it was through his hair.

I just spent like 1/2 an hour trying to get rid of it. What a mess! I used baby oil and I seriously had to shampoo and rinse his hair like 10 times. He was getting really upset by the end of it so I gave up and his hair still looks a little greasy. He's sleeping now so I can't even admire my work and see if I got it all but I hope I did because I don't want to put him through that again.

You can kind of see how funny looking his hair looks here (and I just love this picture), he was sad and just wanted to go to sleep. Poor little guy.

Aww, snuggling with his .Grover.

I always inspect .Aly when she's asleep Shocked scalp, ears, fingernails, etc... It's easier for me when she's sleeping. She gets so mad at me when she's awake Laughing "leave me alone .Mommy! Evil or
Very Mad"

I know what you mean. I still am trying to get it all off of serenity. It keeps coming back.

it comes back, so you might as well not mess with it. I know it's nasty looking, but it will go away by about 6 months.

Oh, I was told that it wouldn't just come off on it's own and i'd have to scrape it off myself. That's why I kind of figured once I got it all off we were good.

I don't know why i'm so grossed out by it. I can't even see it through his hair. He'll probably wake up bald tomorrow because of all my scrubbing.

yeah it goes away by itself usually around 6 months. Ethan had it and I could see it very well, because he barely had any hair.

It's not like dandruff. It's like a build up of oil (i think) that turns into a crust. So I lubed up his hair with baby oil, let it soak, rubbed it around with a soft brush and then kind of scraped lightly with a comb until it looked like I got most of it.

Yeah, it kind of looks like dry scales or something. Aly had it a bit, and it always came back. I try hard not to mess with it. It has reduced on its own as long as I shampoo her head every couple of days. I'm assuming it'll fade away completely.

Chu had it. It went away on it's own. When it was really bad, I just washed his hair more frequently and massaged his scalp with baby oil.
