Oh.
My.
.G.O.D.

My parents are being totally unreasonable.

We found a place we're moving into in about a week or so (we paid the deposit tonight... ) and they especially my dad, are going ballistic! Saying we're and I quote: "medical answer them over big time" and we "have no consideration for them" oh and my favorite.. "im so selfish."

i've been telling them for a month and a half now that we were leaving.
Then last week my dad quit his job. He got another one, in like 2 days making more money but still. Hes all like, "when im going thru though times you're going to up and leave like that. Your mother asked you to wait until we found a bigger place to stay and move with us."

first of all....

My younger brother hasnt called my mom "mom" or my dad "dad" in years (literally) its fool b*tch for my mom and bum for my dad... My aunt is prostitute, my uncle is crackhead (with good reason tho) im "pig" and jacob is "stupid health question" and .Caitlyn is "brat".

I refuse to allow my kids to be exposed to such disrespect any longer.

Aside from the fact that once again the cops are watching our house because of my uncle and his drug crap. He got my parents evicted from the last place they lived for that.. People were complaining to the police about drug activity and get this.. The landlady actually *paid* my parents to move. (seriously.) do they said he wasnt welcome back in their home.

Well guess what.

Mhm.

So yeah .Rob and I dont want any of this influence on our kids anymore. Plus we're sick of living in one room.. Jacob sleeps in a playpen because I cant fit a real crib in there and .Caty is about to outgrow her bassinet, and I definately cant fit another playpen in there.

Im just at a loss... I dont want to d*ck over my parentals but I seriously need my own place. I cant live like this anymore.

Oh yeah..

Sunday we gave my mom $100 they still want another $50 .P.L.U.S they want us to pay the entire $156 light bill this .Thursday.

All I am is an income to them. Thats it. Thats all we're good for. We decided to stay in this .P.O.S state so my mom wouldnt miss the kids.

Im seriously considering getting our deposit back and going up to .Illinois anyway.

I am so sorry love, I know how it can be with the rents. It's awful living with them. But you have to do what is right by your family, and by family I mean your babies and your husband. I dont' think that it's rightthat your mother and father act like that. I hope that one day I am not like that. I think that you have made a good decision, your children don't need to be around that. But is moving back up with your mil such a good idea? But you need to make the right decision fo ryou and your family. God luck.

I love you hun, if you need to talk you know where I am.

You're not screwing them over. They need an attitude adjustment. Don't let them lay a guilt trip on you, all they're trying to do is get you to stay so that they can have extra cash. Go, girl! Run fast and far! Wink

Oh my! I think you are doing the right thing with moving out. Our your parents really blinded by your brother's horrible influence right now?? It would seem pretty obvious to me. It does sound like they don't want to let you go. It it solely for money or are they emotionally dependent on you as well. You could be a source of stability, which is not your role and is not fair to you at all. You don't need that kind of stress. This sounds like a Dr. Phil show. You are being selfish. It seems like it's the other way around if your dad got a better paying job but still wants you to stay around, even if it is for $$$.

Does that suck how you stayed in florida so they can be near their grandchildren and your dealing with this??? We came back to wa state for our child (soon to be children) to be near his grandparents. Our situation is different, but coming back is not what I expected!!! We are thinking of moving to boise, id or some other place that is cheaper. I am realizing it would probably be healthier to be away from all of the negativity as well!!! Pretty sad.

Do you know people in illinios? Why ill.?? Just curious why you would pick illinios. It seems like a nice state to live.

yeah .Robs parents live there... His whole family does. Plus my bestfriend wants to move up there with me.

I just feel totally terrible right now.. My mom just got thru calling me a *fairweather friend*... Because last year at tax time was when we moved back to .Illinois for a few months. Apparently we *used* them until we were finacially ok and now that they need the *help* we're taking off.

I swear she lays it on thick.

During her little tirade.. She was like, (yeah get this.. Makes no sense..) "if I had the money to go to the courthouse and get you outta here I would." then goes into her little spiel about how we're doing them *so wrong* by leaving in their *time of need.*

make up your farkin mind!!!

She claims she can re-arrange my room to fit two cribs, a bed and a dresser in there. Yeah right!! Im gunna take pics of the room all 4 of us sleep in... Just to show u how itty bitty it is. (but my batteries r dead right now so it'll be tomorrow.)

i hate crying.

Especially when I cant figure out exactly why im crying.

Aarrrgghhh! Your parents are so inconsiderate of you, .Sandra! That's so unfair to you & the babies! You guys deserve so much. Especially your own place to just relax & be your own family! You'll be outta there soon.

Run as fast as you can and don't look back. That sucks what you are going through and shouldn't have to be going through it especially with two young children. You need to be on your own raising your children in a healthy stable enviroment. Kids can sense with something is not right and you will notice a change within your household the minute you get out from under the hands of your parents. When you get out of there I am sure things will be rough between you and your family for awhile but sooner or later they will have respect for your choices and know that you have taken the right steps. Independence is very important once you have become a parent yourself so what you are doing is the corect direction to take and let their words go in one ear and out the other you will be the better person in the end and alot happier. Hope you don't mind that I came in on your discussion but I know what your going through I went through it as well after my divorce I had to live with my parents and they were kind of the same way about me moving out on my own. Not as bad and they had selfish reasons of why they did not want me to move out and that was they thought I was taking their grandkids away.

Parents or not - i'd be heading for illinois for sure.

I understand the loyalty thing about "they're my folks" etc but you're the mommy now and the mommy is always in charge.

So stop thinking of others and do what feels right for you and your family (ie you hubby and kids).

Make you happy sandy, not everyone else.

this may sound mean, but f*ck em! If thats *all* they care about why should you care? You are a grown a$s woman with a family to raise and they should not expect you to do that under their roof for the rest of your life. You should have reminded of them when they were going to kick you out.I would no t want to raise my children up around someone like your rother either.Your kids will just leaqrn to hate him and disrespect you! I love you sandra!!! Move to melbourne! Laughing <333

I don't really know you all that well, but I think that I would run as fast as I could and never look back. Family shouldn't abuse each other that way.

You should definately move to illinois. I know that I love it! I have lived in this great state my whole life.

I hope that everything works out great for you.

.Ooooh .Springfield is really pretty! I dunno if .I'll ever have the balls to move out of .Moline.. I really kinda like it here. Its not big, but not small. It's pretty affordable & it's a nice place to raise kids. We'll probably be here for the rest of our lives.. Lol.
