Is metal taste in mouth related to stress?

today my tongue has had a metalic taste most of the day.It is the same feeling u get when you have a great fright and the adrenalin rushes through u but the taste has not gone away.I have had 2 glasses of red wine after work to try and calm it down but this has not worked. I have had this symptom o few tmes over the last few months and it seems t last a day or 2.I am under a bit of financial stress at the moment

Given that you are thinking and experiencing “financial stress”, the metallic taste in your mouth could be stress related. Beside stress, olfactory hallucinations (taste) can be also caused by a brain tumor which is less possible.
