Bumps On Front of Pelvic Area
Posted: 02-13-07 16:48pm

I have s couple bumps on the front of my pelvic area, I have had these on and off for a few years and some seem not to go away. I had once asked my doctor and she flippantly said it was an infected hair follicle. But sometimes they get big and painful, and pop....Kind of gross. They are only on the front not down below. Anyone had this experience?

Get a second opinion just to be safe never listen to the 1st doctor if you don't feel at ease...I have a couple ingrowns the from playin around with razors tryna be cute. they don't pop though they are just darker shade small bumps that's it..They will never go away with cocoa butter or not. Check another doctor please and good luck

It could be infected hair follicles. Infected hair follicles are just pimples. They can get big, they can be painful, and they can pop. So nothing there sounds too out of the ordinary. Some people break out on the face, some on the shoulders, some on their back, some in the pubic area.

Like danny said, razors can sometimes do a bit of damage down there too.

Getting a second opinion is never a bad idea though. Even if the second doctor says the same thing, maybe he or she will actually talk about with you and maybe even be able to give you a cream or something.
