Hello, i'm a new mom, my daughter's 4,5
months old. Ever since the last couple of
weeks I noticed she won't look at me or
laugh at me as much as she used to. Is
she bored of me? Because she seems more
interested in her toys and her
grandparents when they come. I get sad
when she does this. But sometimes i'm a
bit concerned, could it be some kind of
sign of...God forbid...Autism?
Has anyone ever experienced the same?

I think that this is kinda normal. I
wouldn't assume the worst right now, your
baby is so young and she is starting to
discover things. My little one went thru
this too. I felt really bad too becuase
my daughter would cry whenever I would
hold her, kinda like I wasn't good enough
for her. When my sister would come into
the house she would laugh for her, play
with her, and stuff like that. Now she
is 7 months old on sunday and she is way
over this. She loves her mommy. I
think that this is just a phase that she
is going thru. My daughter went to it
but she is over this, so just hang on and
things will change. Things will change.
