When can I take a pregnancy test?
Posted: 02-13-07 20:07pm

Is 5 days after conception too early for the early home pregnancy test to have a positive result?

I had sex on Feb 9th and am thinking of using the early home pregnancy test from First Response and Clear Blue tomorrow (Feb 14th). Is it possible to get a positive pregnancy result?
Thanks.

5 days after a possible conception is too early to take a pregnancy test. You need at least 10 days to pass after possible conception for a pregnancy test to show a positive result. 10 days is the period need for the fertilized egg-cell to become implanted into the uterus. A HPT pregnancy test becomes positive after implantation.
