Im 17 and I havent had my pd in a year and
some odd months..What could be the
problem..
I am overweight but I have lost some
weight. Will this effect my chance of

I think it is best to discuss this with
your doctor as it is not normal to ot have
a period for a year and they should b able
to tell you what is wrong.
It may just be that you are still young
and your cycle is still sorting itself
out.

It has something to do with the fact that
you're over weight. I've had that too but
its always been 2-3 months without a
period.
You should definately talk to you doctor.

I would for sure see your doctor. Do you
not go in for annual exams? Generally the
only time a women dosen't get her menses
is when she is on a hormonal contraceptive
that causes a very thin lining therefore
causes no or VERY light periods. The fact
that it dosen't appear to be the case with
you something could be wrong.
