Hiv From Wet Blood? Posted: 02-14-07 20:04pm


This question may sound dumb, but I am very concerned. My question is how long does hiv survive outside the body? The cdc says the virus dies as the blood dries, but this was wet blood, it was not dry. Thank you. Last edited by starrrfish on 02-17-07 04:42am; edited 1 time in total

I would assume that if the blood was still wet any viruses would still be alive and well. There is no harm in getting tested.
