Yes but i'm not sure if you can get medication. Go ask your school nurse that question, as to depression itself yes you can, go to your guidance office and speak to the school therapist, ask her what services are in your area that may be of assistance to you.

Also remember the basic princibles of depression, try to spend as much time in areas with people as you can, even if you don't know them, get lots of sun or at least light, and exercise regulary.

Teenagers can only get medications if there is a free clinic in their area. Most have been closed but who knows about all states.

It is against the law for schools to pass out medications for any reason, so the most you can get from a school is counseling. The school can also call Child Protective Services if a parent refuses to get a child help. Or they will call 911 and let the hospitals deal with it.

A teenager may be able to get medications from online pharmacies but I have no idea where they could get it shipped to or if they have antidepressants. Plus they would need a credit card, and if the cc was illegal once the medications got shipped over state and country lines it would involve federal authorities.

I believe if you are 16 and older you can receive prescriptions from a doctor. You can also get free mental health counseling at a local clinic, who usually always has a free phone service and can send counselors to your home (or wherever) without charge.

Are you just afraid to tell your parents?? It is VERY risky taking meds for depression believe it or not and I'd hate for you to go to a clinic where they just give them to you. I am not saying you aren't mature and responsible enough to take them, but they just have to be monitored and dosed very closely not only by the M.D. but by yourself. Overdoses can be and are fatal. Good luck. And your best bet is to tell your parents or talk with a school counselor who can take the issue maybe in a better manner to which your parents would be compassionate about.
