I got a call from my doctor the other day
telling me they found abnormal cells in my
papsmear results. I have to go in for
colposcopy in 2 weeks. Should I be
worried? Can this harm my baby? I am
scared that they are cancerous, and I have
never heard of this happening before.
Plus I also have a growing cyst on my
right ovary. Has any one had this
happen to them?

I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Don't stress yourself out for something
that you r not sure about. I had the
copo done when I was about 9 weeks, my
papsmear also came out abnormal. When
the doctor checked me out she said my
uterus was arritated, which may had caused
the abnormality in my test. The best
advice that I could give you is, while you
are having your test done, stay as relaxed
as you can other wise it will hurt. I'm
not garenting that nothing is wrong, but
chances are that its nothing, and the
abnormality came from the pregnancy
itself. I wish you the best. Remember
to relax.
