Is It Cancer, If So What Type? Posted: 02-15-07 12:37pm
I will see a cancer specialist on the 26th
but am unsure as to what is going on as my
family physician will not give me a
straight answer. Here are my
symptoms..High white blood cells over 1
yr, high lymphocytes, cmv antibodies
present, epsteins barr recently diagnosed
with mono, vitamin b defeciant, extreme
chronic fatigue, lump above collar bone on
left side( was coming and going for a year
but for past month has been permanent),
have tricuspid regerg take nadolol for it
and diarrhea for over 2 months nothing
stops it....I realize some of this is due
to recent mono contraction but why would
dr think cancer and if so what type?
Could I be hiv positive and would cancer
specialist know?

Hey I assume the reason your going
straight to the cancer specialist is to
check all your abnormal levels of the
things you listed. Some of them have a
few possible cause, one being cancer, so
it would be in your best interests to
cancel this possibility first as it is the
most critical, otherwise you will be
diagnosed with some other disorder of
diesease.
