I Think Im Pregnant, Help Me! Posted: 02-15-07 12:53pm
I am 19 years old and I have been on birth
control ever since I was 14. I just
recently switched to a new birth control
(yasmin) which I think has less
hormones..And a friend told me those
aren't as effective as the pills with all
the hormones. I was supposed to start my
period 2 weeks ago on a sunday but did not
start til the next friday and lasted for 2
days. My back has been killing me, i've
had some headaches, I pee a lot, and my
stomach just seems to feel a little
different. I have thrown up a couple of
times but I dont know if thats from
pregnancy...Most of all I have these
cramps in my stomach..They feel like
menstrual cramps but they are all over my
stomach, not just my lower stomach. And
I want food so bad. Lol. But thats not
anything different from usual. Oh, and I
feel all gassy. I've been burping a whole
lot. I don't want to go waste my money on
a pregnancy test, but I feel something is
different..Im crazy for thinking this
because I have been on birth control for
so long! What do you think?

We think you need to take a test if you're
worried.
We can't tell you if you're pregnant or
not.

Yeah, just take a test, thats the only way
to know for sure. I was like 6 weeks
pregnant before I could even tell and the
only side effect I was having was nausia
and my period was really late but everyone
is different, I dont know if you would be
having all those signs already so just
test. My period was suppose to be
starting like july 12 and by july 30th it
still hadnt come so I pretty much knew!
Hope that helps

If you are so worried about it then you
need to waiste the money on a hpt. I
wouldn't think that it's waisting money if
you are going to set your mind at ease.
You are already late for your period so
you should/shouldn't have enough pregnancy
hormones in you to come out right. Go
take one and try it out.

? Am I Pregnant Posted: 02-15-07 13:15pm
You could be pregnant but on the other
hand you could have a urine infection, or
a uterine infection, it is not wise to
think only of stopping pregnancy, if you
can get pregnant you can get infections.
Get your partner to use a condom as well
as taking the pill ;-remember you can
catch so many things these day's, also
remember every time you sleep with someone
you're sleeping with every one they've
slept with and every one they've slept
with and every one they've slept with etc
etc, find out soon! Wish you well.

I agree with everyone here.
Your lack of period could be your change
of birth control. That has happened to me
when I changed birth control as well. You
may also have some kind of infection going
on?? I would definitely take a pregnancy
test. It's so difficult to speculate.
