Q: I Lost My Baby!!!

Well I had a message on here earlier saying I was pregnant and I had a wonderful family that wanted to adopt my baby. I had been having pains for a long time and went to the doctor he gave me some "pain killers" and sent me home, I started bleeding and went back - my doctor told me i'd be fine. 2 days later I had my friend rush me to the hospital I was bleeding extremely bad, they set me up in the hospital...And later that day I lost my baby, miscarraiged.... What do I do?!?! I'm lost now, I was so excited to be having this baby, and now i'm alone again. I know grieving is normal but i've never been so damn depressed in my life. Help please someone ~misty

I know it must be very hard for you to lose you little one but dont you think you would have been more devastated if you would have had your baby, then lost it a few days later? Im so sorry you had to go through this though. Its ok to feel sad and have mixed emotions. But what kind of "pain killers" did your doctor give you? As far as im concerned that shouldnt have been done. You need to look into this. There might be a slight chance that your doctor is part of the reason behind this. Which could end up to a big lawsuit. Please look into it. Something sounds wrong here. Your in my prayers sweetie. I hope everything will be ok with you.

Like the person before said about checking to see about the pain medicine b/c in my 1st month of pregnancy I was having really bad migranes and they said they couldn't give me any kind of medicine in my 1st trimester.

Hi I was pregnant with my 2nd child earlier this year and I was about 16 weeks and I lost him. I woke up bleeding one night and I had him on my bathroom floor. I know how you feel. Sad

Hey its devistating to hear that you lost your baby. I was 8 weeks when I lost mine to a miscariage. I slipped over on a wet, oily floor at work and started having pains and then the next day I started to bleed my boyfriend took me to the doctors and they said that I had a miscarriage.

I am so sorry. I have not had a baby yet but I am trying to but from what I know the doctor shouldnt have given you any pain killers or any kind of drug. When my best friend was pregnant the doctor wouldnt give her anything. You should really look in to that.

hey misty. I have never experienced what you've been. I'm so sorry about your precious little baby. We are here to help you, I know a lot of women on the forum have been through this. I was given morphine while I was still in my first trimester and then pain killers to take home, so I don't think that had anything to do with it. Doctors do make mistakes, but not usually with meds and preg women. They are especially careful with that. You and your baby will be in my thoughts and prayers.

You have to take it day by day. It will always be hard and sometimes those feelings will never go away, but talking to other people that have been through it before can help. I have been through 3 mis. And 1 resulting in a dnc. So I know how you feel, and still to this day I always wonder what if could if... So you have to just take it day by day. Good luck im here if you need to talk... Also sorry I forgot to say I send my condolences to you. Im very sorry for your loss
