I keep hearing that the brown spotting pregnant women have is old blood. My question how old is the blood? Is it from months ago or weeks?

brown spotting is not excusive to pregnant women..All women will experience some brown discharge at one point or another. The blood is usually from the previous cycle that hadnt shed from the lining.
