My Hospital Appt.
Posted: 02-15-07 18:17pm

I had an appt. At the hospital today, just to go through the procedure for next wednesday and to take blood.

Bla bla bla...... As I have been through this all, but the best part was when they told me that they have changed one thing since I had .Jordan....

They use to wrap the baby up after she's delivered and then give her to her daddy, but now they give the baby to the father naked and place the baby under his clothes Shocked . I love the idea though!!!! I think it's an awesome bonding experience. The change has come after they discovered that it helps regulate the baby's body temperature and for some unknown reason, it's sugar.

Anyone heard of this?

Wow, I didn't get to hold chu for almost fifteen minutes after he was born! They threw him on top of my blankets and then whisked him away to be cleaned. Then they swaddled him and gave him to dh who passed him to my mom.

I didn't get to see .Oni until the next morning.

Because I refused an .I.V I lost a lot of blood, then came down with an infection. I was put on antibiotics allll night.

This is the reason she had breastmilk .Jaundice. You're supposed to nurse as soon as they exit the womb.

Your hospital sounds awesome!!!!

Wow, that is neat. When they got her out of me they popped her over the curtain thingy real quick then took her n' wrapped her up, then brought her up by my head so I could see her better, then her and daddy went to the nursery for her bath, etc. They did let him watch as they pulled her out.

Wow love that is intresting. I haven't ever heard of that. Amelia came out and they held her up so that I could see her .....Then some gunk fell on my chin, than then they did what ever they did because I couldnt' see her and they brought her over to me and I gave her a kiss and they wisked her away because she was having breathing problems.

Then when I got back into the room she went right on the boob.....Aaawww I remember those days, I miss them

7 months tomorrow I was at the hospital with her trying to get her to feed on the boob.....How crazy. Shocked

well I can't wait to see her mich....I really can't I think that she is going to be darling. I can't wait to see her.

Oh and pm me later I want to send you some of the cutest clothes that I had for melia. They are 3-6 month....But they are darling.

they did the same thing with .Oni. I had .Marconium in my waters and she inhaled it and wasn't crying/breathing like they wanted her too.

It sucked...I could only see her through the glass when they were wheeling me to my room.

They gave me 2 vicodins when I got in my room and I passed the hell out!!!!!!!!!!! The vampires came about 3 times that night.(i call the ladies that take your blood in the wee hours of the night/morning vampires. I hate them.)

i can't wait to see .Jerseeeeey!!
