So today I was being lazy in my room, laying around in bed. (i've been pretty lazy and drained lately Laughing ) and I felt movement in my tummy.
Now i've had the butterflies and bubbles for some time, and swift brushing feelings for about a week, but this felt stronger, in one spot, I guess a kick, but i'm only 21 weeks so i'm sure I wont feel those that strong just yet. It was just very noticeable, and happened about four times before the little guy settled, and it wasn't followed by any gas Laughing so i'm assuming it was my little one. I know it's not a huge deal , but the feeling I got was indescribable, almost like the first time I heard the heartbeat or saw the baby at the ultrasound. It really made my day Smile

also , I had a question! Have any of you heard of first sounds deluxe gift set?
I have a link : http://www.Babyuniverse.Com/pro.Asp?Id=165 60&rc=voltage16560

they have them at work for $70 and I think it looks like the coolest thing! But I would like some opinions before I spend the mula ( i'm such a cheap ass :p )

Congrats! Definitely sounds like movement to me, mama! I didn't get that because my doctor told me that he could hear anything that I could hear anyway.

Awh! Congrats!! It *is* a big deal! The first time I felt .Gabe for sure I was 16wks... But it wasn't much of anything. A few weeks later I was laying in bed & I had my hand on my tummy & he kicked my hand, & I about burst into tears & my heart skipped a beat! It's an amazing feeling.

Congrats on feeling your little one! It is awesome!

I've heard bad things about that monitor, like you have to be about 8 months to hear anything and by that time they're moving so much you won't hear the heartbeat, just them swishing around. I've also heard it picks up every little noise around you including traffic in the street. If you want to talk to your baby, talk to them, they can hear you. If you want to play music, put headphones on your belly.

Thanks girls!
I just read a few people comment's on it and they said it didn't work either. So I guess that idea is out the window.
When you guy's play/played your baby music , how loud did you have it. When you are using headphone's do you have to turn it up loud or does it matter...
And what kind of music should I play classical? Or does it matter?

I turn the volume on the headphones up all the way. You can play whatever you want! I prefer to play classical lullaby type music. That way, once he's born, he'll be familiar with it & I can play it for him when he goes to bed. Hopefully it'll help remind him of being in my tummy & soothe him. Smile

I turned the volume up all the way too. I played a lot of classical and my favorite band (alkaline trio) for him. I don't know if it really matters, i've never played the classical for him since he's been born but I have played the other and he does seem to quiet down when it comes on. But maybe it's all in my head.

I had the bebesounds first listener & it didn't work for *anything*.. All I could ever pick up on it was whatever noises were going on in the house (tv, anything)... So I definately wouldn't recommend that!!

I'm always listening to 80's love songs.. Bon .Jovi..Meatloaf...Def .Leppard.. So I listened to that the whole time I was preggo & now when I turn it on, .Kaylee calms right down! It's the coolest thing Laughing

Aww thanks!
Hehe I just downloaded some baby einstein and stuff and i'm gonna make a cd. I'll also throw a few of my fav. Bands on there. My dad says I was a pink floyd baby, maybe i'll pass the torch!
Tomorrow i'm gonna take the money I would've spent on first sounds and get a decent discman and headphones, and maybe a cd. It's fot the baby, that justifies my splurge! Laughing
now i'm excited to play him music!
