Hi, my girl friend and I have been
together for about a month and we have
been messing around, and when I finger her
not everytime but about half the time she
starts to bleed when I am fingering her
and we both dont know why!! Can anyone
tell us what might be going on? Shes 17
and is a virgin. But shes been fingered

It is possible that you are scratching her
with your fingernails. The inside of the
vagina is pretty delicate and scratches
easily. It isn't uncommon for fingernail
scratches to cause bleeding. Sometimes
the scratches can even get infected. She
should probably see an ob-gyn just in
case. They would be able to take a look,
make sure everything looks all right, and
maybe give her a cream or something to
speed healing and prevent infection if
necessary.
