Q: Calm My Nerves

I have been having brown spotting on and off for the last 2 1/2 weeks. I am almost 7 weeks pregnant. The dr told me its normal and not to stress over it. This morning when I woke up it was more spotting than usual and its not brown but dark red. I just went to the bathroom and noticed a small black clot. I called my Dr.'s office and I am waiting for them to get back to me. I dont have any cramping and I am not in pain just my nerves are driving me insane. Sad

That would definitely be scary hun! If your doc doesn't call you back soon go to emerg. Or a walk in clinic.
Try not to worry, spotting early on in pregnancy is normal , but if you can fill a pad, have cramping then you should take care of it immediately.
I can't really explain it to you, i'm not a doctor but my advice is see a doctor asap, not only to make sure your okay, but to ease your mind..And relax as much as you can, stressing and freaking out won't help ya !
Good luck and let us know how it goes Smile

I dont get how a dr says spotting is normal..What is normal is not spotting or bleeding whatsoever...It may be nothing but its usually cause by an irritated cervix ...As for the clot get to a hospital asap...Good luck
