I'm so scared I might be pregnant, i'm
only 17. I'm not ready to take care of a
baby and I don't think my bf is either.
I wake up in the middle of the night
shaking because I am so terrified. What
will I tell my parents if I am? What
will I do? Give me advice. Please!

Look being only 17 of course you are gonna
be scared but dont be. Please go through
with having this child. They are
blessings even if you are very young. You
can have the alternative of adoption.
There are many programs to help young
mothers out there. Its going to be a very
tough road from here on out but you need
the support of your boyfriend. And if he
doesnt want to then you dont need him. If
you are for sure pregnant, (take a test to
be sure) then you need to tell your mom
camly that you are pregnant and if she
will support you emotionally through this
because you will need her more than
anything. She might take it hard but
after that she will be there for you.

Thankyou for your advice and support. I
will take the pregnancy test as soon as I
can. It's nice to know there is someone
out there who cares. As for telling my
mom, actually I have no idea how she would
react, i'm sure she would be supportive,
just very, very dissapointed.

Of course every mother is disappointed to
find out that their baby is going to be
having a baby! My mom almost strangled me
when she found out my younger sister was
pregnant! Im not much older, only 19 but
I try to talk to younger girls to hold off
on sex or get on a method of birth
control. It is very, very hard and
stressful to have a baby. There is a high
chance you are not pregnant, just late but
the test will tell you for sure. Take it
in the morning (results work best at that
time) and if its negative but you are
still worried then take another one within
two weeks. I know that being a young
mother you need alot of support and love
to get through this. I wish you the best
of luck! Tell your boyfriend you might be
pregnant and if he freaks out and tells
you he cant have a kid or hes not ready
and blah blah blah, let him go. Hes not
mature enough to be with you in the first
place.
