Q: Update- Just Got Back From the Dr.

I had some light bleeding this morning and saw a black clot. My Dr. Called me back and he had me come in. I had an exam and the Dr. Said there is blood present. That it could be the start of a misscarriage Crying or Very sad or I am bleeding because of the placenta forming. He told me to take it easy for these next few days and if I continue to bleed I will go in for an ultrasound on thursday. He told me he is optomistic and not to worry (which is really hard). I had an ultrasound on monday and it went very well. I am just wondering if anyone else has expirienced this before and what was the outcome?

With my first pregnancy, I was spotting very early on, when I was supposed to be 6 or 7wks. It wasn't brown, though. It was pink & red. & .It very quickly escalated to full blown bleeding. I had an ultrasound done & the baby was measuring a week or 2 behind what I was supposed to be. It ended in a miscarriage.

Not trying to scare you though, hun. Just my story!

I had cramping & it was very uncomfortable. & .I passed a .L.O.T of huge nasty clots. It hurt.

Be optimistic & don't worry until you know for sure! You said you had a pap a few days ago, right? So you may be irritated from that. Just look on the bright side & get lots of rest & just relax.

Let us know what happens, & pm me if you need to talk!

Smile

How is the bleeding today?

I'm sorry you have to go through this stress and I know it's cliche but "everything happens for a reason"

good luck to you and yours.

I'm so sorry to hear that hun, but it's not 100%. I know I had cramping and light bleeding at about 10 weeks and it turned out to be a bruise like thing on my placenta causing the bleeding, and undoubtedly the stress causing the cramping. I was told to take it easy so I literally sat on my bum until my doc. Told me everything was ok!
I wish you all the luck in the world, be strong and take extra good care of yourself!
