Well..Sometimes I have cloudy/smelly
urine, but not all the time. My back
hurts really bad. And last night I drank
alcohol and woke up this morning throwing
up with terrible back pain. I know it's
not a hangover because I didn't drink that
much, and I never really get hangovers.
Also I have back pains on the sides of my
mid back area that feel like a
stabbing/numbing pain only lasting a
couple of seconds. What could this be?

hi renee, not all back pain should
connected with kidney infection, or sign
of kidney stone, as there is numerous
factor that maybe effected. but if your
back pain also follow with one of or
combine of this symptom like abdominal
ache or pressure, necessitate urinating
during the night, cloudy urine with a
strong odor or numerous urination, you
should realy start carefull.
Further more, there are additional sign
that also appears in severe kidney
infections cases, like some nausea,
extreme fatigue, chills, and high fever.
so if you being troubled with those sign
actively and maybe become regularly, i
suggest you to meet your doctor
immediately and make some proper check.

I do not drink alcoho, however my urine
smells like alcoho...what causes this.
sometimes it is cloudy and some times it
is very yellow
