If that is true, my baby will be eating
some weird things and I do mean weird. I
have heard it also. My aunt jenny loved
ice chips the whole time she was preggy
with my cousin tiff. Tiff who is now 12
years old who loves ice chips. Then
there is my cousin jessica, when she was
preggy with julia she could only eat
hotdogs (yuck) julia eats them so much she
is gonna turn into a hot dog! So maybe
it is, I don't know. Let me know.

peptobismal by the bottle while she was
preggy and now, I love that stuff so maybe
it's true!

I think that this is true, I mean the baby
learns tastes when in the womb, well not
really tastes but hot spicy that sort of
thing, so I think that it is very well
possible that the child would be able to
recognize the taste and learn to like it
as they get older. I hope that this makes
sense!!

Lol thats funny cuz when my sis was
pregnant with my nephew, she always
wanted peanut butter and normally she
hated it. Now, my nephew is 8 and she has
to stock up on it becuase he has this
ritual lol where he comes home from school
and has to have a peanut butter and jelly
sandwhich everyday. But then again it
could just be a cowinsidince (cant spell)
lol ~ erica.

Whatever you eat gets digested and the
nutrients and things get taken to the baby
through your blood stream and to the baby
through the placenta. It is true that
babies develop taste while they're in the
womb. Since everything you eat goes to
the baby too, the taste of the foods you
eat get transported through the placenta
and into the baby...Where as you know
things are "recycled," so then the baby is
able to taste certain things in the
amniotic fluid. So if you're eating a
lot of one certain type of food, chances
are your baby will develop a taste for
that particular food. (sorry, I read a
lot of pregnancy magazines and
books..Lol).

My mom hated the smell and taste and
ravioli when she was pregnant with me and
I love it now so I guess it goes both
ways!
