Hello, I've Been Having Strange Period Like Spotting... Posted: 02-17-07 01:21am
Hello, I would like opinions please. I
was a week or so late for my period, then
began light spotting. Ususally I have
very heavy periods and bad cramps, but I
didn't really even cramp.
It's been two weeks since I stopped having
that period, and i'm lighlty spotting
again. This time i'm feeling tired and
sick, though the cramping isn't too bad.
I'm bleeding even less then before though,
only a slight tinge.
I want to know if anyone thinks this is a
sign of pregnany or if i'm being paranoid.
I don't want to alarm anyone if it's not
needed.

Having a period is .N.O.T usually a sign
of pregnancy. What contraception are you
using?

Well, i'm n.O.T using any kind of
contraception at the moment. I didn't
feel as though this was a period, because
the blood was brown at the begining, the
way it usually is at the end of your
period. It lasted only 4 days.
Now, it has been two weeks since, and i've
started spotting very lightly, it's a
light pink, not enough to wear a pad or
tampon for, but visible. I was worried if
this is something serious or maybe I could
be pregnant.
I didn't even think of it as being a
possible pregnancy, then my friend told me
she had spotting when she found out she
was pregnant.
I am not on birth control, so that is not
what is causing it.

Instead of worrying just do a pregnancy
test! It's the only way to rule pregnancy
out.
Now bare with me as I may be way off here,
but I think that it's possible that brown
blood at the beginning of your period
could just be leftover blood from your
last period, but I don't remember where I
heard that and if it's right.
If you don't want to get pregnant try some
contraception, but in the mean time just
do a test at home or go to the doc!
Good luck.

I think it could possibly be pregnancy
since you don't use contraception.
Spotting is a symptom for some women when
they concieve. It's called implantation
bleeding. Good luck, let me know what
happens!
