Morning Sickness, Medicine?
Posted: 02-17-07 19:17pm

Hello people.

This is on behalf of my wife.

She does not get morning sickness in the morning. She gets it in the night, and it sometimes ruins her sleep. She was wondering in tums or rolaids, or anything like that would help. Is it safe to take while pregnant?

Does anyone here have any suggestions on how to ease morningsickness?

I have 2 children and 1 in the oven! For me morning sickness varied with my first 2. With my 11yr old i was always sick in the early day. In the beginning for sickness I filled myself with saltines, then it was more eating only what I could tolerate...which you learn with trial and error. Tums are safe when you are expecting, yet I dont think they work for "sickness" they do work for heartburn. With my 5yr old, my morning sickness was not as bad as with the first. But I calmed my stomach with ginger. Tea worked best for me. Now with this pregnancy... I havent reached a sickness point yet, but if I do, I will resort to the ginger for sure. Its natural and safe and worked well. Best wishes to the both of you. Blessings~ Julie Very

My wife was hospitalized with our 1st child for weight loss. She threw everything up. They gave her supositories (prescription) and they worked great! They didn't taste good though! Laughing
