Q: Morning Sickness, Medicine?

Hello people.

This is on behalf of my wife.

She does not get morning sickness in the morning. She gets it in the night, and it sometimes ruins her sleep. She was wondering if tums or rolaids, or anything like that would help? Is it safe to take while pregnant?

Does anyone here have any suggestions on how to ease morningsickness?

Thanks for responding.

Tums are ok for use during pregnancy, as are rennies. I'm not sure about the liquid type of medicines though. Ginger is very good at easing nausea, perhaps your wife could have a packet of ginger biscuits bext to the bed so she can nibble on them when she wakes.

Thank you so much. I hate to see my wife suffer like this. I know it is part of the process, but I still feel guilty.

Green apples helped me (macintosh or granny smith)

She can only take tums I think, my doctor told me that's the only antacid I could take and it says no more than 5 a day on the bottle. I only got nausea a few times and when I did I munched unsalted crackers... I'm sorry she is feeling so crummy, i'm sure it will get better in time!
