I just have a question for you; I hope you dont mind...

When you got pregnant on bcp's.... Was it because of a mistake on your part? Or were you using it exactly the way it should be used and you just so happened to be that 1% that bc fails on....

I now cannot use hormonal bc pills, because they make my depression/mood disorder worse, even though I am on medication.

I took bc pills for 2 years though, before we realised that the hormones were causing me too many problems.

Yes, I took them correctly.

I started bc at 17, and then got pregnant at 18 the first time.

I also got pregannt on an iud, which is just as effective as tubal sterilization.

Nothing is 100%, that is why each woman should have a back-up plan.

Oh my... Welll thank you for sharing that with me...
It helps paint a clear picture in my head, however now i'm very worried

what would you recommend for me... I use my bcp's very correctly everday, and my boyfriend & I do not use condoms...

Should we be using something like spermicide?
If so... I don't even know where to find spermicide....

Thanks so much again <3

Spermicide can be bought at a walmart.

I would reccomend that you decide 'what if'.

You and your b/f discuss what you want if an accident happens, and you were to become pregnant.
