Damaged Skin

Hi,

i've just turned 20 years old this week and havent been overly sexually active in my life, i've only had one partner before my current one who i've ever done anything remotely sexual with, so i've not had a chance to fully experience the consiquences of the problem i'm having untill now.

My current partner and I have done a lot of sexual things together, roughly everything involved in foreplay and i've been noticing severe discomfort when engaging in felatio. I've also found it impossible to maintain an errection whilst attempting to have sex (we've never successfully had intercourse due to this problem).

So, the problem I have is that ever since I hit puberty i've had an undefined scar on the back of my foreskin right at the top where it pulls back. This scar runs right to the tip of my penis and prevents my foreskin from retracting a certain distance before the scar tissue (i'm assuming because it isnt as strechty) pulls tight and stops it from moving any further back. If this were the only problem I would not be so concerned, as i've learnt to live with this since puberty its not so much a problem for me, as it isnt uncomfortable, merely inconvinient.

However the pain and discomfort I am experiencing is when the skin under the foreskin is touched, even by so much as a stay hair can make me flinch uncontrollably quite violently due to how "weird" it feels, and during any sexual relations it is just painful, agonising almost.

Up untill very recently i've attributed this sensitivity to the fact that the skin under my foreskin has never been used and is thus sensitive due to that, but i've now realized it must be due to whatever damaged my foreskin as a child actually damaging the skin on the head of my penis also and it must have healed itself awkwardly and made the whole area sensitive, uncomfortable and painful.

I'd like to know what action I can take to cure this problem, it seems obvious that some sort of medical opinion is going to be needed and I fully intend to goto a doctor to get it checked out at some point but i'm curious which doctor to goto, I live in the uk, so should I go to my local doctor (i have recently moved and have only seen my doctor once, and it is an extremely small clinic) or should I goto somebody more specialized?

I'm also curious if anybody knows what sort of action could be taken if my own diagnosis is correct, my worst nightmare is them suggesting something like applying cream to it - as this would be absolute agony and would likely cause me to throw up as its so uncomfortable.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I am not sure what might have caused that or what they would do to fix the problem.

You can probably go to your regular doctor to get looked at. If you do end up needing a specialist, your doctor would let you know that and refer you. It's certainly worth a shot to see what he or she would say. Don't be afraid to go out of fear of having to apply cream or something. It's certainly worth at least hearing what the doctor has to suggest if nothing else.

I have this problem with a bit of "scar tissue" there aswell. It happened when I was going through early puberty. My foreskin does not pull fully back either. I hope someone has some help with this? I also would like to know what to do.
