What are some signs of a miscarriage?
I have been having extremely painful cramps, backaches, lower abdominal pain and my period is two weeks early, but it's clotting and is more of a dark brownish/reddish.

Pregnant people don't get periods.

Are you pregnant? Or are your symptoms just making you think you're having a miscarriage?
That does sound pretty rough hun my suggestion is see a doctor asap.
I know when I have my period my cramps are bad. And I mean in bed for days bad! So you never know, but that does sound a hint like miscarriage to me ( i'm sorry ) but i'm not a doctor so my opinion can't really help you.
Like I said see a physician , and good luck with everything.

she's expecting her period in two weeks. She's not pregnant.

You should be ovulating right now. A woman ovulates 14 days before her period is due. You can't get pregnant until your egg is fertilized and implants in your uterus. This happens just a few days before your period begins.

You would not be pregnant yet. And if you're not pregnant, you're not having a miscarriage. Does that make sense?

Well that would make sense, but not exactly right now. If this isnt my period, then what would it be? My period was late last month and I wasnt sure if I would be getting my period this month, but then this happened. I'm just a bit confused now.

That really depends. You didn't mention if you're using birth control, if you've been having unprotected sex, if you're trying to get pregnant, etc.

yes these symptoms make me think as though I am having a miscarriage, but I wouldnt know because I never took a preg. Test. I was having preg. Symptoms...Sore breasts, fatigue, nausea, vomitting...And my belly has even increased in size by a few inches. My period cramps have never been this bad before.

All i've been using is the 'pulling out' method. But I heard that I could get pregnant that way too.

The pull-out "method" is not a method. It can, and probably will, get you pregnant.

If you think you might be pregnant, take a urine test. I don't think you are, though.

I know it isnt a method, but that's just what I refer to it as.
Well i'm still quite confused...And need answers. I guess a doctor is the only way to know for sure. Now I just need to find a way to go to one without my parents knowing.

I don't think you're pregnant either, but you don't seem to like that answer.

Soooo... Take a test tomorrow. Even if you were pregnant and miscarrying you'd still have enough of the pregnancy hormone left in your body to get a positive result.

Your parents? So you're not a "mrs"?

Just take a test. If you were having a miscarriage, you would still trigger a positive on the pregnancy test. If it's negative, you're just bleeding. Simple as that.

You're right. I guess i've just been hoping to get pregnant that i'm not accepting anyone saying that i'm not pregnant.
I will take a test tomorrow...I just have a feeling that it will be negative. If it is, then i'll still have to worry about what all this is.

Sorry guys... Ovulation dumb founds me so I realy shouldn't reply to these post's without all the facts...
Mrs. I understand wanting to be pregnant... But wanting a baby is fine. When it actually happens, especially at the age of 17 it can be quite overwhelming. Please wait until you're ready, emotionally and phsyically.
Go see o doc ask about birth control,... Obviously your not having the most pleasent of periods so the pill can regualte that, and with condoms, protect you from pregnancy until you are ready.

the girls seem to have this handled really well, I just wanted to add, if you were by some small odd chance actualy pregnant, your belly would not have changed yet, it does not usualy change for at least a few monthes, usualy it startes changing around 20 ish weeks...So unless your much farther along then you think...That is not a pregnancy symptom

well actually bloating is a pregnancy symptom so it is possible that her stomach got bigger. but bloating is also a pms symptom and for some an ovulation symptom.
