My Boyfriend Is Joining the Military Posted: 02-11-04 09:41am
I found out last night that my b/f is
joining the army. All his crudentials
will be finalized this morning, so I am
not sure when he is leaving or anything.
I am so happy for him that he found
something he loves, but I am gonna miss
him so much. He said that if I didn't
want him to go that all I needed to do was
tell him to stay. But I can't do that,
this will be great for both of us. His
benefits will be amazing. I am just gonna
have to toughen up! Men leave for the
military everyday and are married, so we
can do it too! Well I just wanted to let
you all know!

I didnt know that you were married? How
come you dont go and live on base with him
when he gets settled. Larry thinks that
he might go and join the military it
scares me, because I dont know I just
worry that I woudl never see him again,
but then again my cousin is in the air
force and he doesnt hardly leave the base.
I dont know though well see what comes in
the future. I hope that everything works
out.. And I hope that you learn to
support your boyfriend/husband because he
is going to be looking for you to do
that!!
Hope all is well!!

Lol stacie I am not married! Lol I do
support him, I was just a little shocked
at first. I told him last night I am 100%
behind his decision, so he has my full
support. I am just worried about is all!
But its ok, I know he will do great!

My Boyfriend Is Joining the Army Too Posted: 02-11-04 15:06pm
Hey. I understand how you feel
completely. My boyfriend is joining the
army too. What is your boyfriend going
into? Of all fields...Mine wants to be in
the infantry. Ehhh. He's always like,
"yeah well when I die in iraq you'll get
all my benefits." I hate it when he talks
like that. If you wanna talk I have aim
and msn messenger.

He wont leave until next summer, but I
think he's doing some type of program this
summer. I'm not really sure...Every time
we talk about it we get into an argument,
so I don't really know much about it. I
always try talking him into doing
something less dangerous, but he keeps
insisting on the infantry. That's why we
fight.
