I Got a Bfp Today!!!

Well.... After 3 years of trying I got
my bfp today, as a matter of fact. I
took 2 tests, and both were positive. :d
right now I am in still in
disbelief/shock. It has taken so long,
and i'm trying not to get too excited, b/c
I know it is still very early and a lot
can happen.
I guess my question is..... What do I do
now? Just wait? I know a doctor won't
see you until you're about 10 to 12 weeks.
But.... Considering all of the
problems I have had getting pregnant....
Shouldn't I call my doctor to do some
blood work or something?

First of all, congrats!
Contact your doctor as soon as possible
and let them know. They'll refer you to
an obgyn, and they'll take it from there.

Congrats!!! That is so great! If you
call them and tell them you would like to
come in and have your hormone levels
checked they shouldn't have any problem
with that. Yeah, most offices make you
wait until at least 8 weeks along.

Congrats! You should stay put for a few
weeks and then see a doctor. You'll
probably have a better chance of one
seeing you right away. If you want to see
one right away though, i'm pretty sure you
can like someone here already said. Try
to contact your hospital's ob/gyn by phone
and ask any questions you may have. Good
luck with everything!

Depending on your insurance, you will need
to see your primary doc who will refer you
to an ob/gyn. Usually an ob won't answer
any questions you have until you are a
patient. In the meantime take prenatals
if you are not already.

Thanks for all of the congrats!!
I took another test this morning it was
positive too. I guess it's still hard to
believe...... I will feel a lot better
when I can see/hear its heartbeat!!
I'm calling my doctor this morning!!

I saw my doc within 2 days of getting my
bfp but I was high risk, not sure how it
works normally.
