He's Here!

Hey everyone! My little man, brayden matthew, finally came into this world february 16th at 2:46 am, 7 lb 8 oz and 19 inches! I went in at 8:30 am on the 15th for a nonstress test and they found that the fluid levels were very low so they told me I couldn't go home because they were going to induce me..By 11:30 am I was started on pitocin and on my way to a very long labor. Things were very mild until about 11:00 at night when my water spontaneously broke and then we were in for some pain. I had wanted to go pain med free but as soon as my water broke I was asking for whatever I could get! They gave me something in my iv at first which made me really dizzy but helped ease things a little and when I reached 5 cm. They called for my epi. Unfortunately since it was the middle of the night it took a bit for the man to get there and I was moving soo rapidly that the medicine didn't kick in until a few contrations before he was born. So I felt almost all of the contractions but fortunately didn't feel a thing when he was born. I didn't even push, my body did it all for me. There was some pain but all in all it went wonderfully! I'm so excited he is here, the recovery has been super and brayden is such a happy content baby. I wouldn't have wanted anything different. Unfortunately now i'm super busy catchin up on school work I missed and such but I will post pictures as soon as I have time to figure it out.
